Swords And Daggers
Sheath the daggers
Tame the prowling tigers
Beating upon the chest of failed democracy
Conceal the piercing of ritualistic comradery
Lift heads toward troubled hills of repudiated brotherhood
Let the dialects of astuteness not be initiated in otiose
Methodical canards we espouse, floundering exaltation of man’s blood spill
Ripped flags waving in peace
Treaties signed in cold blood
Death strewn to naked eyes in futile attempts
Only to push secret codes
Annihilation of discontent
Cries of no surrender in the...

Free At Last...Thank God.... Nope, Still Waiting Martin
Give us war or give us peace
Does it matter who owns the lands our feet now lease
We greet with our eyes
Behind veils we mentally bow to our government’s perpetuated propaganda and wicked lies
We raise our fist to laws mandated to renounce equal rights, visions of love, a drought here on earth not deemed a necessity from above
Bullets aimed to kill without a worry or care
Colliding with the ‘bombs bursting in air’
My Fifth Amendment means nothing to me in the dark
A badge, a Taser, point blank range...
