Pity
And you can’t tell them cause they’ll pity you
Like I need anybody more than myself to feel as fucking shitty.
I’m alone, been alone
And like a boat
I feel afloat , yet unconscious cause I’ve sunken
Deeply into the ambiguous abyss
Called life. Cause I’m still figuring out why I want to live.
I don’t . And that’s the honest truth.
Having the saddest years in the prime of my youth .
I guess they call it blackjack cause I’m really 21
And yeah I strive to win it , but I doubt I even won
stress , and issues, one after the other ...
Like I need anybody more than myself to feel as fucking shitty.

Just Another Like
Social media--It corrupts us.
We went from playing hop scotch by the playground
To sitting down on our phones, laptops, tablets.
Waiting for another like ,
Another friend request from a person you don't know.
Another shoutout, share.
Follower.
In this world where phone calls
Are no longer common.
Much less a face to face confrontation
Now we shoot a text , chirp and tweet
Suddenly our communication skills
Dissipated.
Perfect grammar extinct .
We've become a product of destruction.
Do it for the snap, the DMs , the chats. ...

The Closure I Never Received
I must confess
As well as profess.
That I fell in love with the person I once thought you were.
Your physical exterior masked the creature you truly are and eventually made me become.
I fell for those sweet endless kisses, soft like a rose which you placed on my lips as you
stabbed at my heart with those thorns
Until our love fell apart, petal by petal, and inevitably disappeared.
In love with the white lies in which you seasoned my food

Insomnia
Another sleepless night .
I toss and I turn because i can't sleep
This insomniac behavior is getting the best of me.
Is it me? Or is it the thought of you.
Professing your love by day, but by night is that true?

I close my eyes hoping that I'll fall in a deep sleep.
