I know of the pain
And the sorrows
You carry around
I know it mustn't be easy
With such a heavy heart weighing you down
All I've wanted to do is make you smile though
Like you made me back in the start
All the while you've just been pushing me away
What intentions you hold is beyond me
I wish you'd share your hopes and dreams
Talk about the things that keep you trapped
Giggle over the silly things and ill hold you while you cry for,
The things we can't change are usually hard pills to swallow
I don't know what I can do
But...

Tears of a garden now broken
The guilt of planting a seed of pure trust
Into things that haven't yet grown;
Invested time when the planter's were clearly just covered in rust

The weeds of her mind have taken over
She's
Entangled in this illusion
Confined to finding lonely lust
How much can one heart take?
Before her whole chest busts,.
Open to show what the pain really is
Just guts and muscles and emotional troubles
Whirled into warped ideas of what this life should be
Instead of focusing on her reality

So although it seems we've become nothing more than acquaintances

Don't worry for you have pushed me away enough

I know now I am  not of importance
For if I was you'd at least say something..

Its time for me to let go of everything you led me to believe was there

Your mistake this time not mine

I see that no matter what I would do for him or you

That special feeling would never be there

I couldn't ever have someone  that would care..

Stuck old fashioned on a lie, a love so rare

I wrote this poem after Christmas in 2012, threw my children's eyes..

Daddy do you see how you hurt me?
Do you feel the pain when you see pictures of us?
We don't know why your not trying to be apart of our lives, we don't know that you never wanted us around in the first place .
Daddy..?
Why don't you feel guilty that your the reason I wake up screaming, wishing I had got the chance to see you?
I cry daddy every week I ask mommy why every week daddy I blame my mommy although we seen what you've done to her daddy why did you hit mommy and make her cry? ...

Seein things threw cloudy eyes
Hoping, wishing just one day,
you will realize
Maybe you'll feel bad for your actions..
Hah!
I know you won't
Y'all think this is okay?
It hurts more than you'll ever know
To be told things
To have trusted in a man yet
again..
It's a game to be played
There ain't nothing real in this world today
I've lost again
Although I've gained more pain
Lessons learned..
Don't believe in men no more
