Overconfidence
Too in tune with your movements
Used them to prove to myself we could do this
You said your dude that abused you was moving
I heard “come and prove to me you’re an improvement”
I let the first night, that felt right, blow my ego
Now it feels right, any time, or place we go
Didn’t think twice, it was like, scoring free throws
Easy as you like, didn’t try, you and I, there was life
But at times, I was too much to handle
planned all the dates, all the places we can go

Emotional, intuitive, perfectionist
Understand the world and the messages carved into it
To put me at the head to represent the world is stupidness
I’m used to the illusions but confused by people’s ruthlessness
The kingdom that I rule behind my eyes is full of empathy

Choices
Still in my parents house
Working a dead end job
Lost all my friends to drugs, uni or time
To say I’m waiting on a break is an understatement
I have to make the right choices
Opportunities are few and far between, so making the most of the ones that come
It’s a must
Knowing which choice to make to take me where I want to go, that’s tricky
You can’t always predict the outcome
But what I can say for sure, is that when my chance comes, I won’t let it escape my grasp
This is my life, the only one I know I’ll get
I won’t let it go to waste ...
