My Poseidon, take me to the rivers to hear the crickets sing with your streams".

Fill my empty cup with the sun.
Let me digest its elements.
Let me taste its freedom with its warmth. Refresh my melanin coated skin.
With bursts of energy, That only the gods could wield. Revive my life, give me time, give me purpose. You can’t trap the sun.

Broken mirrors
I finally looked at my mirror today.
Ive been running from my reflection for so long
afraid to see what ive become, i fought the urge to flee today
I summed up my inner will

Life's fatal attraction
Please give me a window,
i hunger for the sun
How can i grow in this dark Gray cell
with metal barricades blocking the nutrients from the light?
Everyday that pass i lose a petal to the dirt
Yet my thorns continue to grow
If I could just hear the birds sing to me my rosey color would return from the blush of love. It seems Ive succumbed to wishing on flying stars however for

Freedoms breeze
I felt the wind’s breeze today
I tried to catch it in my hands and climb up like a rope
but everytime i tried to Grab on to the evasive wind
IT would slide through my fingertips
How i wish i could be like the breeze
You cant trap the wind.
The wind is free and for that i envy
If only the wind would stretch out its silky hand, ID never let it go
ID drink the water from the clouds
eat the fruits from the trees
scream out over the mountains And rage havec inside its twister

Don't wake me up
How bad is it that I curse everytime I awake from my slumber?
For I know as soon as my eyes are pried open
your touch is nothing but a mere memory,
plea from my heart to my brain begging for just another moment with you,
rather it be a second of a figment of imagination or a min of repeated history
I beg to the father of creation for a respite from reality.
For I know once I'm awoke
you'll fade away to the heavens where you belong because we no longer exist.
How selfish is my wants for you.
Even if possible I wouldn't ask the genie from that...

The convicted's creator
Of course he knows all but do he ever shed a tear?
To be cursed with the gift of unlimited insight
The perfect painter does his vision ever smear?
Does he ever reconsider sending his creations here?
Where the darkness is camouflaged by light?
Of course he knows all but do he ever shed a tear?
Does he look at his canvas and curse at the swirls and shapes?
Is it up to the prey or hunter to say what's wrong or right?

Dr Mr P (Procrastinator)
I say this with the upmost disrespect
Your devilish ways urk every God giving particle within my being .
Your loud, overbearing , obnoxious hyms, have been a toxic lullaby, that would lure even the most angelic siren to their demise
Your selfish whines and condescending reasonings, would make the most devout monks, wince and shout from a place of agony
If I praise the sun for it's abundance of warmth
You'll shake your fist at the clouds
If I hum along the tunes of the blue Jay whistle
You'll blame weakness...
