POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I write as an escape from reality.
Dreaming
I'm tired of dreaming
No more sleeping
No one can hear me
Because I'm silently screaming
My dreams, they deceive me
It's all make-believe
So, I try leaving
But I have to where to be
Everyone left me
I'm fine until I close my eyes
It's a never-ending nightmare
I see you with her, just standing there
I'm caged
And my punishment is watching you two
I loved you
I'm invisible
Lost out in a hopeless sea
I can't find my anchor
I'm drifting, someone find me
Leave me be
Let dreaming be...
No more sleeping
No one can hear me
Because I'm silently screaming
My dreams, they deceive me
It's all make-believe
So, I try leaving
But I have to where to be
Everyone left me
I'm fine until I close my eyes
It's a never-ending nightmare
I see you with her, just standing there
I'm caged
And my punishment is watching you two
I loved you
I'm invisible
Lost out in a hopeless sea
I can't find my anchor
I'm drifting, someone find me

Sun and Moon
You are the sun
I am the moon
Destined a world apart
You bring the light
I allow the dark
Promised a broken heart
We compromise at Dawn
Soon I guarantee to be gone
When the day found the night
That's when we began our plight
We compromise at Dusk
But go if you truly must
The Moon admires the rays of the Sun
So brightly shinning
The Sun admires the gentle light of the Moon
So beautifully illuminating
And despite all, we fell in love
Not matter what they thought below or above
I am the moon ...
I am the moon
Destined a world apart
You bring the light
I allow the dark
Promised a broken heart
We compromise at Dawn
Soon I guarantee to be gone
When the day found the night
That's when we began our plight
We compromise at Dusk

Black Cat
Fog blanketed the ground concealing what lay beneath
A girl in a used to be white dress, deceased
The dark silhouette hovered mourning by screaming little incoherent nothings
He dropped down to his knees in distress
I stayed perched, patiently waiting
He bore his hands onto her unloading his pain with every blow
Hoping that time would only slow
And his pain would cease
Everything was still, as if listening
He screamed in a heart-retching agony
His fist leaving marks behind that show the pain of remembering
Crying out in defeat, it echoing...

The Two
Torn between the two
The sun or the moon
For better or worse
I loved you
But also you
So, I had to choose
Between the two
The gears were turning
My heart was racing
Because of the decisions I was making
I needed you
But also you
So, I had to decide
Where my heart was to abide
Judging occurred
Because no one understood
What it meant to stand in between two worlds
He was the eye
The other was the storm
He takes me on adventures
And the other brings me back home.
