f**k Grandma?
standing at the granule shore
time lapping at your feet
tides bring so many ones adored
then away it sweeps
beware the hour, oh my child
'til present days do ebb
hold close your bits of treasure
postpone the time of dread
A lot of shit out there to read
who knows what's true or not
just the fact some think "Me First"
gets my collar hot
to wear a mask while we're out
seems such a small gift offered
perhaps another's loved one saved
by acts of "pay it forward"
So think...

A little to the left
but not too far
somewhat to the right
yet only ajar
through traffic so brutal
the pace he did keep
ignoring the horns
and incessant beeps
by keeping centered
roadkill was dismissed
keeping him sane

dealers of something for nothing
purveyors of happy ever after
painting pretty pictures on a rotting corpus
who'll cum and go on a life
flies and lies their only gifts
duct taped hole in a seeping chest
bubble gum and bailing wire bandages
blind reckoning of an
acid soaked heart
nothing for everything
scrapped Soul?

Remember how I've scolded you
when you've misbehaved.
and the words that I have used
for why that's childish ways.
Like a sprout along with many
growing in the woods
time expects you to mature
and stand as though you should
The love for others I've tried to teach

are lost on some around the world
