GENERATIONAL CURSES ARE KILLING OUR PRESENT WITH
NO HOPE FOR A FUTURE,
WHEN ARE WE GOING TO TAKE OUR PAST SERIOUSLY?
WHEN DO WE INTEND TO FIX THE WRONGS,
RATHER HAN TURNING A BLIND EYE TO OUR REALITY…
LET’S STOP FUELING THESE CURSES,
WE INHERITED FROM OUR PAST…
THE CURSES WE INHERITED FROM OUR BLOODLINES,
THE CURSES WE KNOW NOTHING OF, BUT KEEP ALIVE IN OUR GENERATION…
FAMILIES ARE BROKEN,
WE ARE LOST NOW,

Emotional Roller-coaster
Anxiousness is the order of the day,
Not knowing what to expect in the
Face of the day,
Facing the might of uncertainties
Along with zero guarantees…
All you have is faith in the midst
Of worries,
Your mind all over the place yet
No accurate destination,
Trying to calm and keep it together,
Sigh….
It’s not that simple,
No, it’s not….
The loud sirens in your mind
Causing confusions,
Causing a mental disorder,
Are you losing it?
Are you a mental case?
Or it’s just a case of
A flood of worries...
Not knowing what to expect in the
Face of the day,
Facing the might of uncertainties

PANDEMIC STRUGGLES
Our lives as we know, is no more...
Full of uncertainties...
Our lives as we know,
Disrupted without warning...
Our lives as we know,
Put to a standstill...
A pandemic has turned our lives upside down,
As if we were not already facing challenges,
As if we were not already in a fight for our very lives...
Is this what they mean?
When they say life is unpredictable,
When they say life is full of surprises...
Ooh but what a surprise this is...
The world was never prepared,
Our lives are at a standstill... ...
Full of uncertainties...
Our lives as we know,
Disrupted without warning...
Our lives as we know,

BORROWED TIME
All the time we have on earth
Why do we take for granted?
The little things matter most
When honesty has raised its voice,
The truth of, “If only I had more time”,
More time to love,
More time to live,
More time to waste instead of cherishing life…
What has passed me by, I’m not even sure,
Because I’ve been floating with no direction to my purpose in life…
What matters to my heart was put on hold with the hope that
I had more time to get to it…
How I was wrong,
How I wish I took my borrowed time with the urgency it deserved, ...
Why do we take for granted?

We haven't even met,
But knowing that your mom is carrying you,
Is the best feeling ever...
We haven't even met,
But I can already feel your existence...
We haven't even met,
But seeing your heart beating for the first time,
Is a feeling I will never exchange for anything...
We haven't even met,
But I can already feel the bond I have with you...
We haven't even met,
But I can already picture your smile...
We haven't even met,
But I already love you unconditionally...

Emotional Cold Front...
Reactions die out like a flame
left alone on a winter night
The colder it gets,
The less oxygen the flames have...
My silence is a sign of the fading oxygen,
My reactions is the fading flame,
My emotions are cold...
You have became my winter night,
you keep getting colder...
I'm experiencing a cold front,
The oxygen is fading away faster
And the flame is dying out rapidly...
A dying flame should never be left alone
on a winter night, It will eventually burn out...

The less oxygen the flames have...

NEVER JUDGE A BEING BY HIS SMILE…
If the heavens could speak,
I wouldn’t have to explain,
I wouldn’t have to express…

The emotions boiling inside my heart,
The feelings that ignite, confusion in my head,
Pound for Pound,
As I think of the broken pieces of my soul,
How do I stand before the heavens?

I’m giving up on me,
I’m giving up on the battle which I never prepared for…
Why do people bring the war to me, while I’m just living my life?
Kicking me down while I’m UN-aware,
And kicking me harder while I’m down?
I cry out why?? Why are you kicking me?
Why are you in a war with me?
Why are you not resting to my happiness?
