Sometimes
Sometimes we all make that one mistake.
The one that we wish we could take back and do differently.
The one mistake that changed our lives in the worst kind of way.
The mistake that hurt someone we truly love,
The mistake that had us crying in a ball.
But it was a mistake, right?
Did we learn from it or would we do it again.
We try to make up for it but it doesn't seem like it's enough.
But I am sorry for the pain that I have caused.
For I am not that evil,
I don't want to hurt people.
The one that we wish we could take back and do differently.

I'm the one who is ready. let me be the one, let me take the pain. I lived my life let me be the one. he's so young and has so much more to do. why him and not me! I would surely take the sickness from him, let it be me to have the cancer and not my six-year-old son.

Notice me
I stand in front of you in nothing but my best. But you still don't see me, what must I do to get you to notice me. I try and try and try and try some more but all I do still goes unnoticed. Then one day it hit me. It's not me it's you so lost in your own thoughts. So wrapped up in the moment, you can't see what's right in front of you. With a heart that burns for you yet it still goes unnoticed by you.
