she tells them she's not looking to get involved
that they should just keep it moving
they insist they aren't either
...they just want to be friends
& isn't it just conceit on her part...to presume
but she's so often been driven down this well-traveled road
...knows where it probably leads
...& how it will likely end
her constant response to this accusation
to a sense of over-inflated ego
...is always the same
it might be...I am too full of myself...
...if it hadn't so frequently proven...

rows
and rows
of established
trees
cut down,
animals displaced
from
their homes,
the land
stripped,
life giving
waters drained,
all for
the sake
and benefit
for mankind,
and this
is what
they call
improvement.

1980; I remember John Lennon being shot,
My parents cried,
It was the first time I seen grownups cry;
It was a moment of confusion, and deep despair,
My dad pulled me aside, kneeling down, he talked to me;
I ask why everyone is sad, and crying,
For I never seen my parents, or my Tia’s and Tio’s cry before,
He said the world changed, the world is changing, now,
They had just shot someone very special, like in the movies,
And everything is different now,
With John gone, a dream is gone now too,

SAVOR EACH PRECIOUS MOMENT
Every moment of life has a meaning divine
Craft them with love, cherish your precious time
Remember the past but don't go dwelling within
for it is here, it is right now, that your joy begins.
There's a truth, there's a balance, in all we see
from things left unsaid, to leaves on a tree.
Let gentle soft rivers flow through your mind.
Treasure each heartbeat, try hard to be kind.
Be truthful and be honest in all that you say and do.
Pain caused to another one day will return to you.
Tree branches bend and break from winds blowing.

Au naturel,,
we merge so well
'midst the bodies
on these beaches.
in this Eden
there in Sweden..
No swimming trunks
upon the hunks
nor bikinis
on the lassies
obscure the view
of the form nue,
As some move free
in/out the sea.,
others older,
long-time bolder
sunbathe content
by a half-tent.

'Tegrity
Integrity is such an important part of my life
It speaks truth and honor, it seeks justice for what’s right
Because in a world filled with confusion and chaos
Integrity is the moral compass that leads us to see the light
Even when faith dictates awkward and archaic thinking
Our minds should feel something’s wrong with these decrees
Keen intuition will make the heart feel like its sinking
Sensing something sinister that seems like a grisly disease
Such was the rhetoric I once heard from a pulpit

not to capture or seek or deviate
into dramas and stories for lure
not casting bait nor hitting on
anybody with false attention
I come here to listen and discern
all the lovely stories we have spun
a friend a companion to speak to
talk and write with in poetry
weaving stories about life's lived
just being together bound by arts
let's write up a garden
of love life and laughter.

each word you spit
instead of convey
sits heavy as a grave
on your shoulders
we can’t carry the whole world
in our arms, especially
across barbwire beliefs
and minefields of thought
whispering ‘enemy’
it’s time for a proper burial
if we can reach the river
and lay it all down
without giving in
and killing one another first

i once wanted to build a poem
resembling a tree house
made of light and truth
so that anytime it...

I, I am nothing but a thing
Can you tell me how to get something out of nothing
Cause here I stand nothing but a thing
Created of nothing, existing for nothing
I oozed from the womb
Psych darkened and bent, force into my tomb
The world didn't want me so I demanded more room
Prenatal care ensured my mind set and doom
He needs this formula, cereal, and vaccinated shot
Collect his DNA before leaving the hospital and chip the bloodclaat
To ensure he's docile there's atrazine for food in the pot
Field run off into ponds and...

The moon betwixt the new and full
goes through the afternoon,
then from the full the Earth will pull
it back to newly lune.
And thus as heaven's shuttlecock
it rackets to and fro
above the sultry summer stock
and over winter snow.
Thereby is how the game is played,
by every planetoid,
in varied orbitals arrayed
throughout the stellar void...
where nothing postulates the math
of nature as a psychopath.
