I try to not dance with the tinfoil hats
but sometimes I wonder when looking at life
if tech isn’t grafted to children too young,
the tyranny of YouTube videos
of turtles belching Taylor Swift
and sketches by middle-school kids,
in front of green screens, evoking the latest
video games. At least kids played them once,
and didn’t just watch some Illinois dopes
remake the bloody things. But I don’t know,
I was born an old man, was never young,
and probably would have decried the move
to parchment from tablets. I just wish that books ...

I cried
( my picture of the eclipse )
I broke down and I
Cried.
The Sun
Had died
In the sky.
I could not
breath.
As much
As I wanted
To try.
I thought
Death
Had come.
I wanted with him
To fly.
Will the
Moon
Release her grip
Soon
Before she finally dies?
Will the
Light
Return again
Bright
On my tired Eyes?
Will the
World
Ponder this
Wonder or
As...

Why
Give and take
Take and give
Lose a soul
Gain a soul
Is this what it takes to live in this wretched world?

Skin and Squid
Nature's silent breath and equinox
of skin and squid
twilight descends gathering dusk
as seance becomes the rose
born of bamboo and seeds
of skin and squid
listening to leaves on bended knees

Gaza
displaced misplaced lives
new horrors among broken homes
looking down gun barrels
young tearful eyes wondering why
watching bloody severed limps
falling all around them
innocents crying after more bombing
mooved from several kill zones
straight into another hell
revenge has no humanity
tunnel vision on the jugular
enforcd starvation of babies
past holocaust certainly been forgotten
justification what does it mean
for those recieving their rage
we have come full circle
maybe not six million

Snowflakes
None of us leads the same life
We are as different
And the same
As the snowflakes of Winter
We are as different
And the same
As the snowflakes of Winter

Luna’s Allure
awoke from a dream
with divine gratitude
for Gaia’s
sentient gifts
stepping out onto
the dewy grass,
see it there
in the field:
fog flowing upward
from the pond,
billowing under
gleaming
moon beams
reaching out
for the stars;
luminous
in the early hours
of dawn’s awakening
levitating toward
a deep indigo sky,
curling
in suspension…
intrigued;
the brume dances
for Luna
in the twilight
with divine gratitude
for Gaia’s
sentient gifts
stepping out onto

what (they call improvement)
rows
and rows
of established
trees
cut down,
animals displaced
from
their homes,
the land
stripped,
life giving
waters drained,
all for
the sake
and benefit
for mankind,
and this
is what
they call
improvement.

Hymn to Witches
Who did Margaret Read see
in her last throes of agony
what must it have been like
to suffer the flames of this world
to fear the fires of the next
the anguish of it,
the terror of such.
As women, it can often feel
as if our choices lie between
shitty and shittier
as if that intuition burning
our hearts and our guts and our blood
is the very thing turning our skin
to ash.
Some nights, my mind finds them
charred in a market square
consumed by ignorant fires
my bones are...
in her last throes of agony
what must it have been like
to suffer the flames of this world
to fear the fires of the next
the anguish of it,
the terror of such.
As women, it can often feel
as if our choices lie between

No Time For Regret!
No time for regret that belongs to yesterday.
We cannot change what's been and gone -
So why waste the energy?
What can't be fixed might drive us crazy,
And life's too short for that!
Let's embrace it, come what may -
Celebrate a brand new day,
YOUR WAY!
A future unknown.
Haha! I'm the last person to revel in the unknown -
Anyway, it sounded good!
But hey, there is some merit in it -
Feeling excited about what's to come,
While now is simply an unwritten book.
It's easy to get bogged down fearing the worst, ...
