Raindrops
As I take my final walk
Down to my favorite lake
The voices from beyond talk
Reflecting on my life I shake
Myself staring back at me
In the crystal blue reflection
My life and my history
And a thorough introspection
I see my reflection start to cry
My tears I try to splash away
Regret that made me want to die
Revisiting me this incredible day
The dark angry clouds form
Cutting through me like a knife
Then the water transforms
As I anguish at my life ...

The Hunchback of The Beautiful Poem
There is so much poetry than makes you happy for a while, then you spend the rest of your life in regrets,
i can give you a rose, freshly picked from a flowery garden, one that blooms in spring,
just for a moment which will wither the moment its perfume is gone.Abroad laugh
that ends in tears and fears and desolation and sorrows..it's like a fast food
you buy from the sidewalk kiosk, its full, fleshy, garnished, spicy that makes you say,
'' yummy !!, just walk a few steps, and you will get '' Hangry.''...angry+ hungry ...

She never listened to anybody
This was around the time I was 8 or 9 years old.
I was in the 3rd grade.
The teacher's aid always told her and the rest of us not to stand up on the swing.
She always did it anyway.
She never listened to anybody.
I heard she had a terrible upbringing.
She was beaten by her mother for being mischievous and defiant.
Her father would come home when he wanted to.
He was a traveling salesman.
Supposedly he had two mistresses, with families in Texas & Virginia.
I hated her guts because she always used to chase me home from school, pull my hair...

About what I have been going through since 2021 with different stages of cancers prostate cancer and kidney function and tumors and lung cancer 🙏 This isn't really about me it's about you 🤔 YET my real question to you is WHO DO YOU TURN TOO, when you are lost and confuse and afraid. AS you sit alone within the very confinement of your four walls 🧱 that you call home 🏡, as it is there where you can find yourself in peace with tranquility. For the betterment of your life for it is necessary, to be able to understand, that no day. WILL never be the same...

The Typewriter
When a boy, the world appears near
climbing over fences, no need to open a gate
Across our house, a grey building, a school
for those who wanted to be welders or
architects or some other trade.
The caretaker had many keys, we thought
he was the boss, wore a yellow coat
and walked with dignity
He shouted at us kids to show who
tough he was, but most of the time
he let us play in the schoolyard
in a ditch, a trapped cat. we lowered
a bucket down for the moggy to jump into

Dung Beetle Wheel
I ain't got a thing to write
Imma just gonna type and whatever
happens, no matter how bad
you're going to get it
My ear, you'll wet it when you
give me a wet willie
You're silly, I am serious, I am real,
I am the real deal
a real big deal, I am prone to veal
never had it, just rhymed
I try to do that time to time
and hope it makes it flow a little better
as I try to change this into a poem
instead of an open letter
Rapping and rhyming and trying
defiant, unreliable diamond

A kindhearted man
studies evil all the time,
cooks through the books
for peculiar looks,
scrolls on angel wings
across the deathly dull
into a hand-cut lull,
suited to the bone
for special atonement:
speaks with a barrelhouse twang
to the twilit range -
sings for the choir
on a wire transfer -
-barbs & bribes
banalities proscribed
through polyvinyl
chloride pipes-
those underground
bullet.in bytes
of my blood pressure ...

They Called It Rapture
A family memory caressed in my hand
A horrible explosion miles above land
Water-filled lungs and falling debris
The ocean's on fire and I have to flee
Speeding for my life to the tower on the right
Turn back now, I think with all of my might
My body betrays me,and I can't think about why
The bathysphere lowers, and I know I will die
A self-absorbed tyrant appears on the screen
With tales of our greatness, and what we could be
An enterprise so great we could do nothing but thrive
