Battered-Suitcases Battered Suitcases

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself, my music and poetry band, Battered Suitcases. Think Patti Smith meets the MC5, however we also do some poetry with porch blues as I call it. Featuring cigar-box guitars and stripped down blues. I have a home studio and have been a poet since I was about 10 and have been making music (mostly rock) over the past 3 decades. I'm loving all the cool things I've heard on this site and am glad to be part of something that values poetry, poets and all the creative ways we strive to get our works out.

I'd really love my Poem to be listened to like a song. The message in my Poem should be conveyed from soul to soul because that's what music does.
