I don't know what everyone thinks. I know you gotta do whatever to be a featured poet but thought be a good idea to have a poem of the week kinda thing featured. Like maybe one that's received alot of positive feedback or vote for one maybe. Might help get bit more recognition

yes, it would be awesome to have a poem of the week for each category, then maybe even at the end of the year use the best ones from each month, and have a poem of the year vote aha that may be going overboard, but the confidence boost that would follow for any winner of that would be immense
We actually feature a Poet of the Week and one of their respective poems on the site and Facebook page.
We also have a Poem of the Month comp each month where you can submit one of your pieces, or nominate another's. Both Poet of the Week and Poem of the Month are featured in their respective Hall of Fames pinned in the Speakeasy.
The Poem of the Month for January 2017 has already ended and been voted for. Watch for the new Comp next week for Poem of the Month for February, 2017. It will run three weeks followed by a week of site voting.
