Challenge

I challenge you to look out your window and write about the first thing that catches your eye.
To be fair, I will do the same....

One drop of rain.
navigating its way down my window pane.
Crossing paths with other drops,
engulfing them on its way.
As out my window I gaze,
the road map of raindrops block my view.
Surrendered to gravity they have no clue.
Waiting for the wind, to send them adrift in the air.
To the sky to mate with molecules of misty foggy clouds that form.
In a display of awesome power, until the next cloudburst shower.
And then, once again i see, that single drop of rain, back on my window pane.
