I read a poem by Emily Dickinson, I read Hope is the thing with feathers, I loved it and read more and eventually decided I wanted to try writing.

Staind, Godsmack, plus other late 90s alternative rock.  the lyrics were just so relative at that time, like fade, suffer, outside, for you, Serenity,  running blind etc. I was feeling that melancholia of it. eventually started writing songs but particularly to write poems after joining this site.

The discomfort in writing isn't one I'd label as fear. The real challenge for me, closer to fear, is making the writing public.

Not usually, unless I'm at work and have to write a procedure or policy--then I have to use a certain format called "CLIA"  to make the document acceptable:  http://www.aafp.org/practice-management/regulatory/clia/manual.html


Can you write about any topic, or do you have a comfort zone, in which you prefer to stay in?

I string words together because it's the best therapy of the planet. A few other people even seem to like those words on rare occasions but that's just a bonus.
