Honesty is the best policy, I say.
Explaining why you have additional acounts is purely optional.
I personally have 4 other accounts, though this never was a secret. The Mods have known about these for two years since their inception and I've admitted to being them here and there on just about a weekly basis.
Having multiple accounts over the last decade ( in other forums prior to DUP ) has helped me come up with more ideas to write about from different perspectives.
My other selves are:
Magnetron
Psycotic Mastermind
Anarchitect
and
Mary Walker
