I still an 80s' indie boy at heart (whatever that entails). For my sins, have seen Morrissey 108 times (yep, each one is diar'ised). Will there be a 109th? Possibly if I can coax Uma to making the pilgrimage? Lol. His new album is entitled 'I Am Not A Dog On A Chain.' Probably shift about 56 units in UK. He seems to have lost plot recently - if he ever had it?!

He hasn't lost the plot ... don't be deceived by the detractors ... (108 times ... wow V impressive.  Have you read Juliet Naked by Nick Hornby?)

Seen the film. Mr Hornby is, possibly, a tad under-rated.

I take little heed of the detractors. Always been thus. The Melody Maker deemed 'Panic' to be racist?! And so it goes on.

Seen The Wedding Present (and other Gedge creations), James, Manics, Half Man Half Biscuit (could only be a UK band), New Order a fair few times o'er the years. Spent many an hour in my youth compiling truly awful fanzines with pritt stick and rusty typewriter, writing frightening verse to global pen pals, un-spooling cassettes. Who wants to grow up? Who wants to go back?

Handful of times. Bizarrely, only when I lived down South. Guess last time was 1999 in Hastings!

My experience of seeing them was always in the mighty North ... Newcastle, the Leeds, Wakefield always more than simply seeing a gig ...   My last time was at the Brudenell Social club a couple of years before he died.  Anyway ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3ZSXlNvAiI

Ha. Hit The North. Apparently, during his final concerts, he sat in wings singing & ranting. Saw The Sundays in Bradford (should have been bigger than ABBA, but they hated being famous). Last time I was in Leeds, drunkenly grooved (as if I ever groove anywhere) into ‘Flares’ disco & crawled out. Had pleasure of meeting Alan Bennett on Regent Park streets - the North's finest export.

Jingle Jangle for pre Xmas tinsel. Black Friday indeed? Prefer blue Mondays.
