I actually had special pens and a hard bound blank book when I used to journal, no wonder I got so serious about poetry, I even had a quill pen with refill cartridges back then. It was a way to fuse art and poetry, I guess..
About word counting, I count my blessings every day that I can still still count !
To all you new entrants to NaPo, don't fear the count, I'll be posting some word counting tips soon to help get you acclimated to it as NaPo begins, stay tuned and don't change that dial..

PoetsRevenge writes on a variety of topics, but most beautifully (in my humble option) on the topic of Love. PR’s NaPo poem is a lovely and constant reminder that we each have a light inside.
If you should find yourself lost on this journey, stumbling in the dark, void of words, revisit this poem as a way to remind yourself to look for your light. I certainly will!

I'm very nervous about not succeeding this year. I have two trips planned for late in the month, plus being an accountant this time of year as always. All of that said...
