Wonderful! All I remember from last night is seeing 9:05 PM on my clock until 8:00 AM this morning!
It warms my heart to see all the comments and what NaPo means to so many here at DU. I am grateful that what started 8 years ago has become the greatest anticipated event in the history of the site, with dozens crossing the finish line each month.
it's a testament to the success of a group effort and site support! In honor, here's the first bloom of a Raspberry Sundae Peony!

I am not acquainted with anything you are Doing here but I still wants to join your community. I have a question for you to answer as I cant comprehend some of my behaviours. First I believe in meditation as I have experienced some of very delightful experiences through it. I don't do prayers nor I go to any temple or church etc. Whenever I do meditation and by chance I succeed in going deep in it, I always get rewarded with beauty, poetry, love dreams, Peace or something else. But whenever I try meditation second time after getting rewarded prior, let it be the next day or a couple of days after, I feel so lonely, so much as I let the thought of going into meditation pass. And then days pass by but I don't try to go in meditation. I cant understand this eccentric behaviour of mine. Can you please help me to understand why I feel so lonely the second time when I try to do meditation?

This weekend I'll be celebrating Easter with some family members, we'll dye eggs and all that we have in Bulgarian traditions for Easter, and I'm looking forward to it!

It's Wednesday evening and I've been feeling unusually exhausted. Can't think why!! LOL
Must be the 2 jobs, 2 kids, 4 voluntary roles (NaPo, church band, stewarding for music exams, secretarial work for local arts Festival) which have ALL managed to collide over the past few weeks, and in particular, NaPo, stretching my brain almost to breaking point by trying to reinvent the wherl every day. Maybe I'll just use the prompts next year!
Oh yeah, and I did a 2.5k charity swim on Saturday!

I've answered you here because I feel it's the more appropriate thread for it:

Orthodox Easter? I wish ours hadn't come so early this year.

You forgot Mercury Rx!
Man I died last night. Feel 100% today though! Sounds like you need to do the same!

I was kinda busy to post this April 26th, but it was the 50th anniversary of women being able to obtain a credit card or open a bank account without the signature of a man.
I had a wonderful teacher in high school named Miss Ramsey n the late 70's. She taught the girls in our class the importance of applying for a credit card, even if we only had a part time job after school. She was my teacher in accounting, shorthand and typing. She also suggested that we set up a checking account. This advice was priceless.
Today I am grateful for her.
Women, never relinquish your independence to another person.

Have you ever just had one of those UNBELIEVABLE days where the energy was so rampant that you accomplished a week's worth of work and feel even more energized because of the accomplishment?!
Yeah, that's me today with the Moon in Aries! My natal Moon is Capricorn highlighting organization, hard work, and dedication. Put the fire of Aries' energy behind that and I work a week in one day! So, the days before, when the Moon is in Aquarius and I want to rebel against work, period. . .then in Pisces when I have to force myself to work SOME rather than escaping outside for two days, I don't worry one bit if I get behind - because I know what's coming. . .a passion for distinctive and innovative work!
And that's the beautiful thing about the Moon - it's consistent. . .and becoming intimate with her cycles benefits you more than you could ever know.

THANK YOU, Aries Moon! I started and completed a booklet for the Oracle Deck I designed for a client ( wasn't expecting to design the booklet, but ended up being commissioned to do that too ). The cards were designed and approved before NaPo and Mercury Rx!
The Moon moves into Taurus tomorrow before the Dark Moon! I can already feel the weight of this earthen lunation. All I will want to do tomorrow is rest, spend time in my garden, and eat!
And that's how you do it with the Moon cycle! It's okay to take days to just enjoy the pleasure and magic of life!

Lovely. I've rhubarb in mine
and bluebells. I've no idea
about new moon rituals.
But then, my garden is a box.

Exhausted! All the beds and pots are ready for the seeds but heavy rain is moving in and I am afraid the beds will get washed out.
Of course it's now June. . .and STILL muddy!

Stay safe out there, Carolinas! Sounds like the sky is falling. So glad I didn't plant those seeds.
