Josh - Holy crap! What an accomplishment! Looking forward to the photos!

Thank you. Give me 3-4 months to make the windows and I'll post a pic of the completed green-house, plus the inside with its circular beds which have yet to be sorted.

... with the beginnings of our new find-something-to-eat-all-year-round forest garden, now planted with 14 beds and not quite visible a circle of special citrus trees to give us fruit all year round too.

Now there is just the small matter of making 200+ triangular windows ...

Then you can have a laser light show to celebrate, it could be a 3 D theatre, shaped like the omni theatre in Boston, leave a small opening near the top for your giant telescope window like the museum of science, also here in Boston

Thank you. The possibilities are endless. I'm intending to have a poetry event when it's finished too, maybe even a regular one, among all the eventual plants I hope will be growing there.

Thank you. In about 3-4 months I hope to be able to post a picture of the finished project on the "things you've made" forum here on DUP - where there's actually a picture of my previous smaller geo-greenhouse:

Ahavati said:Okay guys! this is my error! Apparently, the original list was truncated or something. Hell, who knows what I did ( or apparently didn't do )? Your names are everywhere else on this board.

I've just gone through the whole thing with a fine-tooth comb and submitted the omitted names to Webmiss. Please don't ever hesitate in reaching out to me immediately if something is ever amiss with this Challenge! Don't wait for someone else to say something!

Thank you Ahavati, appreciated!  Didn't believe you or the team had done anything amiss.  If I had though, it was chance to learn.

And see my third trophy there now too 🙂 three trophies, three NaPoWriMo's.  It means a lot sentimentally, acknowledging, irrespective of the external and internal pressures or my life before, I'm showing up and letting myself be heard.  Even if I've not posted or commented on any of the writes that have struck a chord yet.

Geodesic dome looks good Josh!

Sheesh Josh!  I thought I accomplished so much by dusting my house.  Finally.   It’s really pretty. I love the colors of it. I know nothing of these structures, do they remain open as such for the natural elements?  Congratulations.  It’s an awesome job well done.

You're welcome. We love how you show up consistently each year. The annual returnees alone are a testament to the success of this challenge, rules and all. They provide you with a sense of accomplishment, and us with a sense of pride in each team member that crosses the finish line.

Pretty certain this year was the first year we didn't lose one single entrant. That really says something!

Hi H, the colours are because there are nine differing lengths of metal involved in this dome, and I colour-coded them so I would not get mixed up when bolting them together. The colours also reveal the geometry of a geodesic dome.
The structure is not going to remain open (I have built others which are opn for plants to grow over and create an open-air shady flower space - takes about 7-8 years to get wysteriua, jasmine, climbing roses, eating-grap vines etc to cover an 8-metre (diameter) dome).
I have to fill in all the triangles (200+) with triangular windows - after which it will look bit like my previous (lock-down project) dome. You can see a oicture of that one here on page.37 of "things you've made": https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/forum/speakeasy/read/11128/540/    Cheers, Josh.

Welcome to you, Cipher_O, Ljdynamic, and Wafflenose!  When I saw your sterling performance from the floor in Napo22, I knew you had far more to offer.  Now here you are, poised to roll out the very best of yourselves.

Thank you so much! I can't believe how new I still am to all this.  Until 2.5 years ago, I'd written about 20 poems, ever.  Now I have about 150 (there are multiple limericks in some of my single catalogue entries, and some that I haven't put on here).
