My spreadsheet shows 28 participants home & dry -- well done everybody. You can check on which page each of your poems are.

Congratulations to all who made it through. This month was more fun than I imagined. One nice thing about NaPo is one just posts what he has so to meet the requirement of one a day, and people are basically supportive, which is how I felt about posting in general back when I first came to DUP. I don't know that my poetry was any better or worse than usual. I just wrote as I normally do, though I had to post around my work schedule, and some mornings were harder than others. I didn't always have time to read, but was amazed at some of the poetry posted during the challenge. And I just wanted to say thanks to all. It has been, for me, a great month of poetry.

Congratulations, NaPoets! You should be proud of yourselves for such a grand accomplishment which extended far beyond Haikus, Senryu's and the like! You pushed yourself to write utilizing the power of words!
For Veterans of this challenge the accomplishment is just as thrilling as the first year. New registrants should feel a grand sense of accomplishment, as well as realization of your potential when it comes to writing poetry!
Please bear with us! Team NaPo is busy double-checking all entries. Once we have the final tally, we'll post the 2022 NaPo Banner here, as well as submit the trophy list to Webmiss.
Those who are interested in carrying on please feel free to do so! There is plenty of space left, and it will be interesting to see just how far some of you can go.
Hold tight for the Banner Announcement and awards! And thank you for flying with Team NaPo'22!

Well done everyone. yay! bloody'el. A big big thanks to the team for keeping a beedy eye on us all and prodding me politely and gently with a stick when I messed up. And a bigger thanks especially to Ahavati for managing and handling this so smoothly and totally as a pro.
Hopefully I will try and be around this month to comment on some of the entries. In all, how many entries were there in total? I make it around 38,000? that can't be right can it?

As always, I am grateful for and in awe of the team's capacity, tenacity, and positivity whilst navigating this versicular vessel...the good but tired ship NAPO. A hearty, humungous bear hug for each of you 🐻

I share your exultation, nomoth! Let me add my congratulations to Ahavati, as well, for managing us so well, even without her co-pilot, JB, whose absence would have added its own weight to the proposition.
Congratulations to our challenge captains and their respective teams for giving eagle-eye service while maintaining their own participation as competitors. Finally, kudos to all 28 who saw it faithfully to the finish line. Those who may have fallen by the way ought to brace themselves for future opportunities and not be discouraged. Let your obstacles strengthen your resilience.
Twenty-eight poets posting 30 poems each, would give us a total of 840 new NaPo poems outside the Prompt Comp.

So, while catching up with all of these graphics and posts ( and soon to be poems ), I had a TERRIFIC idea!
Wouldn't it be FANTASTIC to see some of the edits from this challenge?! And wouldn't it be even MORE FANTASTIC if some of those edits were published?! This would be such a testament to NaPo! Therefore, I propose the following:
Anyone who wishes to edit a NaPo entry, and would like to post the edit next to the original is free to do so here!
Just remember that you can't post TWO links to poems - so if you want to post the link to the revision, and then paste the original below, then we could compare the edits with the original! I would love that!
I would start, but, erm, mine is an epic and 30 stanzas long. Though I suppose I could edit certain stanzas and post those some how. It would be two copy/pastes vs. a link - as my link would show the ENTIRE epic.

I did minor revisions on 5 or 6 of them in my personal saves but my #13 was the biggest revision. I figure I'd share it here.
Original Post:
Day Thirteen Poetry
As my pen bleeds my fingers smear the ink.
Thinking that the dry spell is broken,
spoken words take form on the blank page.
Engaging into battle with me in 3D.
Being impossible as we do not see eye to eye.
Denying me the right to express my heart and soul.
Control of myself has been lost.
Tossed along the way with my inspiration.
Unique Words 52
Revision:
Bargaining
As I watch my pen bleed
my fingers smear the ink.
Lost as I unleash this necessary deed.
Thinking that the dry spell is broken,
abruptly these words begin to heed.
Spoken words take a form
on this blank page.
My hand writes the brainstorm.
Engaging these words to battle in 3D,
they decide to surround and swarm.
Being impossible
as we do not see eye to eye.
Crafting a poem does feel possible.
Do not deny me the right to express
a piece with my heart and soul.
Allow me to confess.
Control of myself has been lost.
Depressed as I have been
tossed along the way with no inspiration.
