You know, I actually did! Only in my case, it was my grandmother's toaster oven, which exploded inside as a result. It was poorly timed too, since I pulled that prank while social services had come to the house to investigate my grandfather for being an abusive jerk. My mother came out into the kitchen, saw the mess (it was a terribly, smoking mess too!), and let me know just how much trouble I was in for doing that. Not even the most insane prank I ever did either! But I have to admit, it ranks up there pretty highly.
Have you ever created a working crossbow with tinker toys and rubber bands?
I did when I was about five years old, and I even fired it at a castle I made with my building blocks just to prove it worked. I thought it was much too dangerous though, so I dismantled it right after I saw it could actually shoot. I used one of those long green pieces as the crossbow bolt too.
