Yes I have but I took the high road.
Have you ever been embarrassed?
Never! The closest I came to it was this one time when I went hiking with my family back when I was a teenager and there was this one part of the trail we were on, where a beaver dam spanned a wide rushing stream. Along the top of it was a metal cable that was intended to use to help hikers to get across the dam, effectively using it for bridge without falling into the drink. I made it over just fine, since I always had good balance when I needed it most. Everyone made it across okay! But my silly mother slipped and fell in the stream and had to swim to shore. Once she got there, we were all kind of laughing, and it got sillier! She spotted a snake, screamed, and the snake actually jumped into the water to get away from her. I thought that was incredibly silly, since myself I was never afraid of snakes at all. I actually held a boa constrictor once when I was little and handled a garden snake one time too. But I remember saying to my mother: "You probably scared that snake way more than he scared you!" and we all had a good laugh about that. Except for her, she hadn't had quite such a good time all things considered.
