The Gathering Place ( Modalities of Divination )
I've been expanding my knowledge into Vedic ( Eastern ) astrology and ran across this for Pisces. Since its Pisces season, I thought I'd share in case anyone else is interested.
The sign of Pisces is called al-hut ("the big fish") in Arabic. Therefore, in the illustration of the Zodiac, there is supposed to be only one fish, which is sometimes the case.
The sign is usually represented as a large, nondescript fish, whose body curves slightly upward in order to better fit into the round medallion within which it is depicted. When Jupiter, its Planetary Lord, is illustrated, too, this male figure sits cross-legged, floating above the curved back of the fish.
However, the constellation of Pisces (al-samakatdn, or "the two fish") also influenced the iconography of the corresponding sign of the Zodiac, which often took the form of the more familiar image of two confronted fish arranged in a circle.
This is why, as on the pen box discussed in catalogue number 6, Jupiter, when included in the illustration, is shown with a fish on each side, similar to the figure of Mars with the two scorpions.
Although the image of Jupiter with the two fish does not reflect the literal interpretation of the sign of Pisces, because it is more effective and closer to the meaning of the constellation, it became more popular than the representation of a single fish.

Said the Wise Ptolemy: "Those born under Pisces and Jupiter in the decade of Saturn are thoughtful and strong. They are good-natured and they speak in an amiable manner.
They have many good qualities, and balance amusing and serious moments well. Thursday is a good day for them, while Saturday is bad. Cold and moist food and drinks agree with them. Red and green are suitable colors for their clothes.
Their signet ring should have a blue stone. When they appear in front of the governor, they stand at his left. When they sleep, they turn their head to the north to chase away nightmares and grief'.'
Said the Wise Dorotheus: "They will have a problem at the age of five. They will fall from an elevated place when they are eleven. Other problems will present themselves when they are eighteen and thirty five, but they will recover and live a long life.
Allah knows more. Their months are Dhu-l-Hijja and the Christian month of Adhdr [March]. They should be careful every Saturday in the month of Aylul [September]. Allah knows more'.'

It's time to step into the unknown direction you feel drawn toward. Whatever is holding us back, a relationship or circumstance, it's time to end it so a dream can be reborn. Mercury suggests communication: use our voice.
Tonight, the Moon, now in Virgo, inconjunct Pluto in Aquarius: Residual conflict of emotions regarding what we know we need to do. Endings are tough, but if we want to evolve, we have to choose ourselves over self-sacrifice.
This will not affect East Coasters as much as my West Coast or Mountain Timers: Late tonight the Moon sesquiquadrate North Node semisquare South Node ( reverse of the above Mercury aspects to the Nodes ): Forward movement may meet resistance if we haven't broken the karmic pattern. We can't go from A to C without first going through B. Finish the lesson to evolve.

This weekend marks the Lantern Festival, heralding the official end to the Lunar New Year of the Wood Dragon, symbolizing the Dragon's Landing! Time to get to work! 🎎🏮🎐🧧🎉
On the 15th day of the first Chinese lunar month, two weeks after Chinese New Year is the Lantern Festival ( also referred to as the Spring Festival ), an important traditional festival in China. The lantern festival marks the end of the Lunar New Year of the Wood Dragon, more aptly referred to as 'The Dragon Lands'. All the new year celebrations stop from this day.
Traditionally, on the night of the Lantern Festival, streets are decorated with colorful lanterns. Families will get together to enjoy a reunion dinner. People also eat tangyuan, glutinous rice balls filled with sweet sesame paste, red bean paste, or peanut butter. In Chinese culture, tangyuan symbolizes reunion.
Chinese people believe that eating tangyuan during the festival may bring family harmony and good luck in the new year.
After the Lantern Festival, Chinese New Year taboos are no longer in effect, and all New Year decorations are taken down. Some people still wait till after the festival to return to work or study.
The lanterns symbolize people letting go of the past year and welcoming the new year with good fortune.

Mid-afternoon's energy will prove challenging. The Moon in Virgo inconjunct Mars in Aquarius oppose Saturn in Pisces and sesquiquadrate Eris in Aries, all in less than a two-hour span: Don't allow others to determine our value. Their opinions are just that and no more. Even if we feel we've made a mistake and it's being blown out of proportion, remember there are NO mistakes, only experiences. Make this one count.
