Hoi hoi
I really love this. This spring we were in Baskenland and I tried my hand at the language (and failed miserably). It seems like a language you have to learn from your mum or in bed.

I didn’t encounter this music and I can see how it fits like a glove for you. And to be honest, I like it better than the examples I’ve encountered so far. Far more traditional, almost Celtic and the sparse backing of your choice gives more way to the voice of the lady you’ve chosen.

You can see the birds (plus the architecture/art) why we were there. The weather was foul as usual.

Thank you so much for posting this.
To be continued? I hope so.
Kind regards, Gus

^ Irish actress & singer Jessie Buckley collaborates with Bernard Butler (ex Suede). The album is an ethereal delight.

Few years ago Butler & McAlmont released Yes. One of the greatest pop songs in the lexicon of English language, in my humble opinion!

Ariana Grande...that's an interesting chant, I may expect more from someone like her...but sometimes my head is just reacting to loud noises.

Some moments of Momus, who should have been bigger than Coldplay (but he never had the Hollywood wife, political slogans inked on his skin & the ability to promote blandness).

Gus will appreciate this. Reputedly their most frenzied concert on home soil. Lest we forget.

Yes, you are correct. I am a huge morrisey/smiths fan. But I am a bit of a freak where the recording is concerned. And the performance is even tighter. So:
This recording in the Meervaart is much better, in my opinion.

Audio only I’m afraid.

^ That is actually The Smiths first ever concert in Europe. Very raw. Thanks for sharing. The lead singer of the very short lived Raymonde used to be a Bez type dancing character in the their early shows. Bizarre really.
