Possibly not a ‘strike’ so to speak, but I’ve been involved in lots of eco protests. I’m an active supporter of Extinction Rebellion and once spent almost a month in a tree in my younger days. I’ve been chained to many a digger :]

Have you ever written something that scared you a little bit?

Yes - I'm in two minds whether to post it here later.  Partly because it just isn't that good.

Yeah I was once suspended for throwing a chair at a teacher. He called me stupid and that I’d never amount to anything.

What was the best thing about school for you?

Hmm, it wasn't great.  By the end, I was disillusioned with the whole thing, and my entire peer group.  I was quite studious though, so I'd have to say the best thing was the set of qualifications I managed to leave with.

What people, activities and objects sum up your childhood?

Yorkshire puddings, meat gravy and strawberry jam. Food of the GODS.

Also, ready salted crisps and chocolate sauce.

Have you ever designed your own tattoo?

Yes, although I haven't had it done. I'm thinking about not getting a purple and turquoise dragonfly with my family's names on the wings (shoulder). I'm also thinking about not getting stars and musical notes on my foot/ankle, and a crown of thorns around my wrist. You can tell I've given a lot of thought to the tattoos I'm not getting.

Have you ever thought you were going to die?

Yup. Scotland. I once woke up in a hammock with a deer licking my nose.

Have you ever made a spur of the moment decision that turned out to be really good?
