Welcome to November's Classic Corner poll!

These names were taken from the previous list for male and female poets. If there is a poet you wish to see featured, PLEASE ADD THEIR NAME TO THIS POST, and we'll feature them in next month's poll.

Please vote for one male and one female poet from the above list. The top female and male will be featured next month.

Here is a list of poets we have already held challenges about and earned themes for, so keep in mind there is no point in recommending them:

Did y'all do Tony Hoagland yet? I just finished Priest Turned Therapist Treats Fear of God ... it was a great collection ...

Oo. I'd like to nominate Simon Armitage. Has Auden been featured? He would be one hell of a challenge. Rob

Hi, guys; thanks for participating. There is a list in the opening thread that has all the poets we've featured so far. Hoagland, Auden, and Armitage are good nominations for future comps.

Durrell is an excellent suggestion, nomoth. I am glad Auden was finally mentioned. Johnny and I try to refrain from nominating because we really want the membership to guide these comps so we can feature who they want to emulate. Thank you for your participation!

Yeah, I only through in Lord Byron this poll because we were short on male poets and he was the first in my mind to fill the vacancy.

And while you are breakin' that tie, vote for a female poet too! You get to vote twice at the same time! ✔✔
