My day was fine.
I went to Korea town with my cousin in the afternoon to pick up some ethnic groceries.  I got some pickled ginger, kimchee, bok choy  and pink colossal shrimp.  On the way back, I saw so many shops closed, it was such a sad scene knowing how in the past it used to be so busy.   There were some restuarants serving outside (no indoor service is allowed in my state, yet) and the waiters were wearing their proper attire with masks on, plus plastic sheild on their faces.  It was 90 degrees outside and I felt so sad for them.   Now I'm sitting outside smoking and I can hear the house behind me with their usual weekly teenagers in their backyard practicing softball, tock tock tock, balls hitting and their laughter, chatter, lost in oblivious momentary happiness...and i wish i was as young to feel stupid and happy.

I was sooo tired today
Went for a 5mi. Hike yesterday.
I am no longer feeling as stressed as I was but it wore me out.
This may be a double post I can't remember
My word of the day was late I have felt the effects all day
Kind of like a marathon sex session in college
You are so tired but feel so good

Oh Ahavati
What sorrowful news
I am deeply sorry for your loss
Times like these you can say all sorts of heartfelt things to the family who has lost a loved one but their is no beauty in any of the words

Silence is best
I will post

Thank you so much, Val. ❤

Ahavati said:Today has been tough for me. This whole week has been tough, especially for my niece and brother. My family has lost grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles; however, we have never lost a sibling, cousin, or, God forbid, a child until this week, when my 14 year old great-nephew, Carson, was found dead on his bedroom floor. We won't know anything until the medical examiner's report; however, he was complaining of a mild headache the night before.
They suspect it was an aneurysm.

People, you just never know.

What can i do to ease and or help You?

i feel You and Yours and want only the best backbacking shit to ferry them (and You) on their journey.

Thank you, Tallen. My family and I truly appreciated all the thoughts and well-wishes from DU. The support meant a lot to me. I could feel your love and caring. We had family in from Mississippi who left after lunch today. I really hate that funerals seem to be the only time that families get together anymore. I feel reunions are a thing of the past.

I am feeling better emotionally and spiritually, but weak physically. So I hope you all give me a bit of time to play catch up. xo

Nice to see you, mommabutterfly. I am catching up on DU and writing some drafts that have been stuck in my head. What book are you reading?

A lovely morning so far. Sacred space cleansed and the weather is so cool I haven't run my air in a week! I don't remember it ever being like this, though I am sure we will have at least one more hot spell before the autumnal onslaught.

A gaggle of geese is flying south, their honking growing faint in the distance.
