I think the most important thing that any of us can do is to accept whatever happens in the election. Judgment, i.e. - resisting and fighting are only going to enflame matters more. I am not saying you have to agree with what's gone down; I am not saying if you are privy to injustice to not voice that injustice. I am saying this petty "He's a so-and-so. . ." and "He's a so-and-so. . ." is only polarizing the country more.
All we can do is vote our hearts, and whatever happens happenes. We may have four more years of shadow work to do; denying it will create nothing more than more shadows ( particularly within ourselves ) that we'll need to eventually face.
Covid has given us the perfect global time out to work on these things; the last four years have brought the shadow aspect, i.e. - racism, et al to the forefront in our country so we could face it. We may need four more years to annihilate it.
We'll have to see. Expect the best, yet prepare for the worst; but, either way, accept what is and find peace within yourself if you truly want to make a difference in this world.

Just got back from the Post Office after mailing someone's Birthday Gift. I hope she has the self restraint to not open it until the aforementioned occasion.
It's fucking cold out, but at least sunny. I need to finish up evaluating entries in the Classic Corner Comps!

Christ I haven't even started on those. I need to put out the final reminder and see if there are any edits before I dive in.

Blustery and rainy are words of the day here. We are directly in the path of Hurricane Zeta ( albeit now classified a tropical storm moving across land ). We are experiencing wind gusts up to 25 mph, and by this afternoon are told could be up to 60 mph. Got plenty of candles and perishables in case we lose power, which is highly anticipated.
My heart goes out to the gulf coast and the loss they are experiencing there. They've been hit hard and back-to-back with two additional hurricanes and two tropical storms this year.
