nomoth said:Maybe...but I think he is still young with some sisters watching what his next move is behind him.
He is a little top heavy but has plenty of space for the sun to reach his lower branches. He is too eager to grow up. His sisters are smaller but a little wiser and are better proportioned ....
I love your vision, Andrew. ❤🌲

Both , absolutely wonderful / magickal , No Moth...
I love the second more , yet if it were my art , I
would crop the bottom pinkish color out...
Just slightly above ...not because it truly looks bad...
Just an imbalance in the image as a whole...
Otherwise , again , wonderful work !

Excellent work, nomoth. I'm torn in regards to the pink on the second photo. On one respect I feel it anchors the piece perfectly; on another, I feel it's distracting. Overall I feel it adds that perfect touch of tension to make one a bit uncomfortable in their own personal assessment.

Thank you so much Josh. And thanks BW and Avahati, I agree with you both....and i like the uncomfortable feeling that Ahavati suggests....and rather than just erase it or leave it as-is, i would rather add more of that out-of-place color to kind of 'even out' the composition of the image. I would so rather have that off-kilter weirdness in my images than something ultimately clean and 'nice'....but i do agree that it is odd by itself there.
honestly i never really noticed it before...thanks so much again for taking time for your thoughts on it.
