I had another visit from the crystal fairy this morning... he dropped off a rainbow moonstone sphere, carnelian flame, some pyrite cubes, a smokey quartz tower and a mini Lapis Lazuli point.
But he also dropped off this which I just adore... BISMUTH! I can totally get lost in this stuff.

These two pics are of the same rock one with a flashlight shining through the layers
Yes I dug them out of volcanic rocks they are inclusion within the rock
If you could imagine them while forming they would have been a type of vescicule in some cases in others it would be the constant drip during evaporation which creates the layers
The one in this photo is like a vestibule which allowed the minerals to combine in its purest form without inclusions ( gem quality)
