hahahaha 😂... I have a little bit of heaven to visit during the pandemic... my mom's backyard.. someone forgot to tell the Queen's wreath that it was still winter... lol

England is on its third lockdown so I haven’t been out of this town for almost a year now.

Getting a bit old, not gonna lie. I bet it is.. I can relate... it's the same here... except not mandatory because our governor is... well politics aside...
she's only about 10 minutes away and I really haven't been anywhere but their either... her house is her, alone and I haven't been inside since March... luckily, it's FL.. so even Christmas was able to be outside. She finally gets her first jab this Fri... I can hardly wait.. I'm driving her. It's a drive through vaccination location, that just got up and running via appointment only.. for 65+
Going to record it.... for posterity...hahaha

You’re quite right. I’m a trained reiki practitioner and have seen the effect that working with the chakras in animals can have on their overall well-being.
A reiki friend of mine did a course to specialise in the animal side of it and has some amazing stories to tell on how animals responded. Using crystals to enhance your practice is also a very interesting experience for both giver and receiver.
It’s all rather fascinating 🙂

As well as crystals, I’m a bit of an avid collector of all different kinds of objets de curiosité. Mainly occult, to be fair. It’s just what I’m interested in.
A few weeks ago I started reading about the history of the poison locket / poison ring. It’s an item of jewellery that has a secret compartment in which in medieval times was to hold secret poisons for enemies that you could anonymously slip into drinks, or yourself in the event of capture from the enemy and you needed a quick way out to the pearly gates. They were quite a macabre thing back then, especially if you read up further on it all.
Throughout the ages, their history has changed somewhat. They were later used as mourners lockets to hold things such as hair, teeth, ashes and mementos of those who have passed on.
Today they can be used for all sorts. To hold herbs, crystals, affirmations. Anything you want to carry around with you.

Anyway, I came across this glorious modern interpretation of a poison locket with a pentacle and a tiny little moonstone crystal at the end and decided it was for me. I have a hand drawn sigil rolled up in mine for a particular intention I’m focusing on.
But I just think they’re so beautiful and have great history attached to them. Wanted to share as an interesting little tidbit. 🙂
