Rob , I do not believe he will concede...
He will try to pull some ploy to stay in ( semi ) power
It will take major moves to get him out...
There are those ready , but watch the radical right

Okay.
That is fine. Not everyone will see the point.
To recap: do liberals let you kill your baby or someone else’s?
You get to destroy with your bodily freedom - unless with COVID 19...
Meanwhile, we should talk about if masks are dangerous, humiliating and dehumanizing. It’s a new human rights issue. No problem if you want one. But should you use your mask on me while aborting people’s babies?
See, humanity and autonomy is just... for theatre - in the liberal arena. My opinion...

Take your CoViD mask questions to the COVID Hoax thread
If it's still running
If not you should start your own thread where you could fabricate arguments making it appear someone is violating your rights

I understand it’s uncomfortable to think about it.
If we can mask
we can wait for a baby to be born

Where I live on the California Coast , no , we do not "always" wear
a mask , only in stores , and if you interact with groups of people
you do not know or trust...
So no...you are wrong
We have Choice , not some imposed law...
Yet what you are suggesting , and yes , I SEE YOU ,
is personal decision , putting all in danger , just
like the idiot and his followers , Trump...

Joe Biden isn't humiliated, dehumanized, or in danger when wearing a mask while he campaigns.
Unless we are trying to paint the picture that the minute he is president, he and everyone in his circle of power will refrain from doing so while demanding the public does ...?
I wonder * scratches head * which candidate, based on actions and words, is more likely to do that ........

I've read it all now. Mandatory mask-wearing while in public places ( not at home or outside when 6' away from others ) is akin to a woman's right to choose. We 'liberals' will fight for a woman's right to choose because it's her body, but not against wearing masks for the safety of others during a pandemic because fuck her body. Well at least we aren't gender-biased on this one, right?
FYI - we also support mandatory dress vs running around naked because fuck all y'all's bodies. Oh, wait, I think that's a bi-partisan agreement and the law. Nevermind.

Great summary.
Except we do have clothing optional government in America. Why not?

I am going to insert my thoughts here on the topic of masks.
As I've mentioned before I do work in a company that's considered essential and have been witnessing, experiencing everything on ground level for months and what actually goes on behind the scenes as well as front lines.
(well get into the topic of cleaning, disinfecting..etc in another time)
When the government required masks they only said face covering, they were not clear nor specific on what type of masks to wear, although there was some recommendations on which were better, or best but left it up to the public per personal choice.
I've seen people with bridal lace with elastic band holding it up around their face, I've seen people with bandanas, I've seen people with homemade crochet with yarn. I've seen people with a sheet of paper towel glued on a string . And then i've seen the extreme that you'd think there's a nuclear war going on but there are some of us that's right in the middle with cloth or disposable medical grade masks given to us from our employer daily (mind you, they do check our temps upon entering the building)...but I gotta tell you, after about 6 hour period of wearing that mask in sweat and physical labor I do question if I"m actually protecting my own health by breathing in my own germs and recycled air trapped between the fibers.
It stinks..and smells toxic.
I no longer wear any kind of makeup below my eyes except for some light moisturizer to decrease the added oil or residue getting into the fabric.
I've had a discussion on twitter recently..which i was thrown shit at me for questioning wearing masks, or what type and how well are we really protected with the broad term of 'face covering' when I told them how they don't really last all day.
It's very unsettling that we're living in this age where its so divided that we can't even question something reasonably.
Most of these people are still sitting at home air conditioned, just leaving the couch to take two steps to the kitchen and then back again to sit watch tv..and when they step out they're only putting masks on for few hours of shopping, nothing strenuous, nothing laborious .
But let's see how well they will tolerate wearing masks for 8-9 hours when they go back to work and they can't wash those masks every couple hours. I'm sure some will start figuring out that its not really sanitary and then will start carrying extra masks.
And I want to stress again that there's no clear requirement on types of masks by the government!

It can be very confusing, Layla. Particularly when WHO and the CDC are contradicting each other in regards to masks.
https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/do-masks-work/
I have been following this very closely, as I am at high risk for contracting covid-19. While I have purchased masks to support small business or friends for purposes of income; I was provided two professional masks by my healthcare physician. So the latter is what I wear when I must go out. Additionally, I also rub thieves oil on the outside of the mask ( as well as my hands, door handles/knob, steering wheel, etc. ). I figured if it stopped thieves from getting the bubonic plague it will help me from getting covid-19.
Anyway . . .
Surgical face masks significantly reduced detection of influenza virus RNA in respiratory droplets and coronavirus RNA in aerosols, with a trend toward reduced detection of coronavirus RNA in respiratory droplets. Our results indicate that surgical face masks could prevent transmission of human coronaviruses and influenza viruses from symptomatic individuals.
More importantly, there is a recent systematic review of 19 trials, which concludes:
The study suggests that community mask use by well people could be beneficial, particularly for COVID-19, where transmission may be pre-symptomatic. The studies of masks as source control also suggest a benefit, and may be important during the COVID-19 pandemic in universal community face mask use as well as in health care settings. Trials in healthcare workers support the use of respirators continuously during a shift. This may prevent health worker infections and deaths from COVID-19, as aerosolisation in the hospital setting has been documented.
My heart goes out to healthcare professionals whose mask creates a vacuum when they take their off after a shift. It all seems so much; however, perspective changes when a friend or family member is diagnosed positive. It then becomes a small step.
Our ( NC ) governor just issued an executive order outlining mandatory mask wearing in public where social distancing cannot be avoided:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PD5b7SLTbT8PnrX1Or4fSPvsJvNRCUgL/view
In that executive order it merely says "cloth face covering", which, in essence could be a mere bandana.
I agree with you that we need more clarification and studies to ensure our own personal safety. While I only have mine on for an hour or so at the most, I do feel for you and others who must wear them all day.

And whether on gay marriage or civil rights, American public opinion tends to drift toward the side advocating equal treatment. Public opinion doesn’t have nearly as clear a record of drifting toward the left on issues that don’t hinge on equal treatment under the law, like gun control and abortion.
