Indeed.  Thank you all who braved the challenge, and congratulations to those who completed. To those who didn't, there's always next year!  Don't give up. We're putting a GREAT team in place and have already begun brainstorming.

Also, the answer is YES! We will continue to feature your poetry on our social networking sites to promote you and DU.  Any member who would like to be featured please feel free to message.

Again, thank you for such a wonderful experience!  This has been the BEST NaPo ever! And a very special Thank You to Team 2020, of which none of this would've been possible.

Johnny and I wanted to take a moment and give the Webmiss a big *SHOUT-OUT* for all her recent work on the NaPo Home Page! We are setting up for 2021 and have an excellent team of 14 top-notch members ( whom we'll be introducing in February's marketing kick-off ) in place and ready to bring you one of the biggest and best NaPo's ever!

You can check out our previous NaPo's, and garner more information about our 2021 event here:

https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/poetry-writing-month/

Registration is less than THREE MONTHS away! OMG! Can you believe that?!

Also, we're welcoming DaisyGrace to the Director's Table! NaPo was Daisy's original concept, so in essence she is the * Founder * who will step into my shoes should I feel pulled in other directions.

Lastly, NaPo is for and will always belong to the membership of DU, and every aspect, from graphics to content will remain intact until the site itself no longer exists. We are merely facilitators who will eventually move on ( as all in life do ), leaving the event in the capable hands of a younger generation to direct with their own creative concepts.

NaPo is an Official DU event created for the membership and is not personally owned by any one or more members despite creative license content; thus, we don't grab the ball ( supposedly for the membership as a whole ) and run home with it until we get our way.

Thank you, Webmiss, for all you do to bring our creative ideas to fruition for the enjoyment of site membership. It is truly appreciated.

A & J & Team NaPo'21!

This place saves my life as often as anything else in my support system. I have to pile on with what DG and Aha said- so much gratitude, Webmistress!

I am so excited and incredibly grateful to be a part of the NaPo group this year!  Last year was my first go at participating and it helped me grow tremendously.  I sincerely appreciate Webmiss for allowing us this opportunity and a huge shout out to all who volunteer their time and dedication to making this site the beautiful space it is 💜.

I want to say thank you to the Webmiss for all the work she does in running this site. If anyone who has ever worked on developing and maintaining a website, they understand the countless hours that it takes.

I’ve been a member since 2012 but I’ve been more active the last few years. As SatInUGal mentioned, DU is a great support system, it’s where many of us come to cut our teeth and improve on our writing. We have a great community of talented poets who inspire one another.

Deep Underground has been instrumental for many folks. I can’t help praise its creator for making it easy to navigate, connect and allow us to post our poetry for the entire world to read. We are living inside her vision, this dream of hers is a gift to us who aspire to become better writers.

Thank you Webmiss for everything you do.

PS
I would let Walter’s Alter Ego say something as I’m sure he’s also grateful but that mf is a little unstable sometimes, but he’s also very appreciative.

Hello, Napo enthusiasts, here we are again for our next journey, and with each step we depend on our Webmistress for guidance, and she is always there behind the scenes.  I am so appreciative of all the great features she comes up with to enhance our experience.  It's exciting to be part of something so groundbreaking (I mean you have to break ground to get underground, where the good dirt is).  This labyrinth of cozy corners is like a book store at home, with plenty of blank pages and pens.  Well, I elaborate:

         Thank You, Webmistress !

Less than three months before Registration?! Time has really flown by this year. If I spend less time commenting on anyone's poetry, it's because between now and June is when I go into NaPo mode in terms of prepping for the comp as well as participating in it. I've never been good at multi-tasking, so don't take it personally if I'm a bit of a groundhog.

Keep hitting this thread with your NaPo testimonials and gratitude for all that the Webmiss has created for us here at DUP. BAM! WHUMP. NAPOW! She has provided the most excellent poetry publishing platform you could ever hope for and the flexibility and support to host such massive challenges. Thank you again, Webmiss!

What's for certain is that I will be around for many years to come as a host. It is a privilege and an honor to be around such great writers who take it seriously and understand NaPo has little to do with earning a Trophee; it's  about believing in yourself, encouraging others, and providing a fabulous experience --- all of which nobody does better than Ahavati. ❤📝
