In the middle of the Great Divide in the United States
in a blizzard , 1970's , after getting dropped off by a
Mormon elder , who pointed , when he let me out
on Interstate 40 , I believe that was the highway...

Said , when he let me out , as the storm was coming in...

"If you get stuck , my house is ten miles down that road"

He was the nearest neighbor out in the middle of nowhere...

I was out there , then the storm hit...60 mile an hour
plus winds , snow falling down , found out later it was
nineteen degrees , I just stood there , hitching , praying
to the Gods and Goddesses ...

All of a sudden , as I was losing all warmth , and about to
pass out , a vehicle showed up , doors opened and it was
an old hippie school bus , and I could barely see it had
smoke coming out from the woodstove...

Door opened , someone popped out with superlong hair
and a huge butterfly tattoo across his whole chest...

Said "You want a ride" ?

Sheesh , as if I didn't ...

Then a voice from inside...

"Get him in" !

"Wer'e going to Denver"

The guy was driving , 6 foot 6 , I found out later
built like a f***ing giant , and looked identical to
Fidel Castro...( Oh , this story continues but that
tells about the blizzard...oh , except they put me
by the woodstove , gave me a mega mega dose
of liquid LSD , and I watch the ghosts dance in the
snow out the window on the way to Denver )

So , have you ever taken massive doses of a mind
altering drug , as a gift from a stranger / or friend ?
