Very worth the time!!!

Yet (not sure of Your patience) as many "war" dramas can be...
The quiet and pauses to it are very long (in that perfect way 0f expressing time/emotion)
and the loud chaos that war brings is ...well...exactly that lol

It's one of length as well, which I prefer during these times.
Other well known actors in this too.

(Brody lost tons of weight for the role)

An oldy...but maybe in my favorite top 10 list...both movie and book
Empire of the Sun

Since we are talking war flicks. .. But it focuses on life in Japanese camp as experienced by a young and orphaned British boy. It's beautiful.

I finished watching "Anna" on amazonprime free and it seems like its another version of Le Femme Nikita and then the american remake of ' Point of no return".
The movie "Anna' happens to be the Russian version with few twists that the other two movies didn't have.  It was entertaining and I enjoyed watching it, It wasn't great, but it was good enough to keep my interest.

OMG! I LOVED Point of No Return! That was one of Bridget Fonda's best roles, imho.

yesss, that chemistry between Bridget Fonda and Gabriel Byrne was so intense, i remember how my heart hurt that they couldn't even express freely.

La Cabina. Spanish film (34 mins). No subtitles, but it would work as a silent film anyway.

There's a cool (free) YouTube series called Mind Field for anyone who likes to learn about random science facts. The YouTube channel creator that runs the series is VSauce.

Also, I watched Terms of Endearment on Amazon Prime and I loved it. A tearjerker for sure... it's about a mother/daughter relationship over several years.

It has Shirley MacLaine, Debra Winger, and Jack Nicholson in it. It's similar to Steel Magnolias if you've watched that movie.
