Borat Subsequent New Movie Film.
Maria Bakalava steals the show as Bo's daughter. Brilliant comedic performance.

I started 'The Queen's Gambit' this week, and I must say it's certainly exceeded my expectations. You don't have to be a chess player to enjoy this series ( though I am, so I might be a bit biased ). While it does focus on some technicalities as well as aspects of the game ( of course ), they're not so inundating that they lose the viewer.
I am so reminded of myself at that exact period in time ( or era ) when I was the only girl in my house or in school that played chess.
Highly recommend.

I too started playing chess at the age of 7
I had foster sisters who taught me how to play

Then I'm glad I recommended it, though I have yet to personally start it. I initially brought it up because of your interest in Chess and its possible relevance to Luna's comp.

DOOMS DAY (w/ Mr.Hoskins)------ yeah. Given our COVID conteXt, the first half will run chills down one's spine.
Last half degenerates into just another zombie hack'em up, shoot'em up bullshit.
That genre (zombie) was beaten to death (pun'tended) over 20yrs ago.

Which ironically, was a genre that never existed until George Romero's Night Of The Living Dead, despite the fact that the term "zombie" was never used in the entire film. The undead in his classic were referred to as "ghouls".
