I prefer my books on tablets. Portable library. But I still buy books  when I find something I like.

Discover any new interesting author recently?

10 minutes drive

When you go to a bookstore, which section gets your attention first?

Hardback. It’s a special occasion book. I got one just today actually.

What’s the funniest thing you ever caught on camera?

My Cool Cat Blue,
looking at himself and
studying himself in front of a mirror
Just odd to see him spend time like that.

I want to go with nature cause it doesn't take much to capture a beautiful scene because the canvas offers so much at any given time.  Although, some city'esque pix can be amazing but it takes more of an effort to capture a moment.

Black/white or color photos?

I was a professional photographer for well over a decade; so I would have to say it all depends on the lighting, really.  I do have a preference for B/W  myself.

Do you like cereal?

Inava. Where fish , usually mackerel are filleted, cut into tiny bits, doused with hot boiling water, strained and then mixed with salt, chopped garlic, chopped ginger and chilli. It is then mixed thoroughly and lime juice is poured on it, mixed thoroughly. And eat with rice or whatever you like. Also eaten as accompaniment to wine or similar beverages. Tribal recipe.

What is your native food of choice?

We have so many but my favorite is a flat bread that has a paste like mixture spread on top and baked in brick oven.  The paste consists of dry herbs of thyme, oregano, cumin, dry red peppers, sesame seeds, sumac, moistened with olive oil then spread on thin dough to bake.  You can eat the bread like that or use it as a base to layer other ingredients like cheese, tomatoes, olives, fresh mint...so good.
