Blackwolf said:Excellent , with one "minor" , yet important detail...

Look at your actual hand in that position...

First , your thumb , is not Quite that long , or as skinny...

( should be a "shad" shorter and consider the width ,
as opposed to the other fingers...again a "shade" off
yet that does make a difference )

Two , the rest of the fingers...again , look at your own hand...

Are not the base of each finger , a shade wider , than the
rest of the finger , when considering the distance from
hand palm to first knuckle ?

In most people I have seen , there are those type of
subtle differences...( otherwise , excellent ! )

As you present better executed images over time ,
I shall offer things I did not before...

Know I love your work , and take it or leave it...

Looking forward to seeing the next one ,
and the completed triptych !

It’s always the hands lol

I really do need to take a break at some point and do a solid hand study. Just need to find the time and intestinal fortitude to do it.

Your feedback is always appreciated BW

Josh said:and after cutting and shaping the pile of metal above into over 220 pieces, drilling over 1,000 holes, colour coding the 6 differing lengths, making 70+ discs from 3mm galvanised steel, and 500+ nuts and bolts later it became the structure for an 8 metre geodesic greenhouse (put up last Friday) - and that was after hand pick n' shovelling approx 40 tons of rocky clay to make a flat space in a sloping bit of the garden.

I can appreciate the time and effort put into this Josh.

It is a beautiful structure

Thank you. Now I just have to "fill in" the 100+ triangles (no more than 5 the same throughout) by making 'windows' - probably wooden frames with UV-resistant poly-tunnel plastic staple-gunned onto them. Hope to be done by Autumn in time for Winter planting to extend our growing season.

It will be a site to behold, Josh!

Thank you. I started on phase-3 today, beefing up the sides and back of the bottom ring so I can back-fill into the cut-out into the slope. Since the open side is South facing, I aim to gather heat (in Winter that is) into the clay wall (same principle as earth-ships which I visited in Taos, New Mexico, which I visited 20+ years ago).

I used to live in Cornwall and several times met Hamish Miller (famous dowser who lived nearby). He got me interested in dowsing and this zome is my first attempt at "Litho-puncture" (acupuncture for the land) which I made a couple of years ago. I dowsed the energy-centre of the quinta and placed it there, as a way of honouring Mother Earth - and of helping the energy-flow to improve. This affects both underground water movement, and the vitality of plants, although I have no 'scientific' proof - but imho proof is only for superficialities.

Hamish was an amazing guy (read his obituary here: https://www.theguardian.com/theguardian/2010/feb/18/hamish-miller-obituary) and I have a pair of dowsing-rods he made for me.

Lagertha The Shield Maiden

And here is the final result. I will be posting two of them and am looking for any feedback as to which is liked better, with or without the texture. I am leaning towards this one versus this alternate but am curious as to peoples opinions
