we use powdered pigment mixed with an emulsifier and water..that's all I know xD
I'm not an expert about these things, but from what I've heard, most of the colours do end up looking different (some more than others) after the plates and stuff get fired c:

yeah, sounds like a glaze. make sure you post a pic of it completed :D

Lettering is stencilled, prism is freehand. I didn’t happen to take a “before “ picture, but it was a mess like most of the antique furniture I redo—-thank God for electric sanders! Lol

Here’s another thing, I just finished today—it’s a huge old wood mirror frame I found in a barn at an estate sale . The mirror was gone, and I thought the shape looked like a vendor booth at a fair, so I made it into one , that can be a wall hanging .
