Wow. I am a liberal and proud to be leftist vs the conservative right here in America.  But had no idea that I was only tolerant of other liberal ideologies.  I have some really good friends who are "right-wing conservatives" ( since we're labeling ), and just as ( a vegetarian ) I can sit across someone eating a steak - I can also agree to disagree without losing my tolerance.  I don't understand them; I don't understand why they voted Trump; I don't understand why some of them are opposed to gay marriage or pro-choice ( when it doesn't involve them ).  But, they're my friends and have been for years so I respect their choices and opinions.  Doesn't mean I agree with them because I respect them.  But they, as I, have a right to live their life as they choose.

But make no mistake, I am not guided by anyone or anything outside my own moral compass.

I am the last one to advocate for facebook, particularly it's new AI algorithm getting it wrong. I mean really wrong at times.  But I am in social media management therefore make the best of it.  It sounds to me like you have a friend problem - not a facebook problem. It's not facebook that's blocking you, but your "friends".  Some things are what you make them regardless of what others do.  People block me, good riddance. The Universe pruned them from my life, and now I don't have to worry about a frenemy. . .

I am somewhat surprised at the wide angle labeling of all liberals vs some.  They are't the ones sounding intolerant in this thread.
