Ask The Person Below You A Question

poet Anonymous

Because of my job, easily.
Because of the podcast on my days off (yesterday I started at 10:00 and finally shut the laptop at 19:00) even more so.

Have you ever met another person in real life that you met online?

would you spend around 4 hours a day online (=approx 61days of a year)

That’s an easy stretch for me coasting... while eating nectarines.

Aaah never mind me.  I’m running at a slug’s pace right now.  Sorry Missy.  Carry on..,

Caught? I can't remember. I just watch their dance over my lawn evenings in the summer.

Do you have a dream catcher?

Dreamer catcher is in the front room and chimes are under the eves out in front of the house.

Do you make your own bread?

Never carved antlers so would have to say wood ( although I've only whittled that ).

Do you have an annual Autumn celebration in your country?

I make bread once or twice a month if I can. Some months get by me.

As rarely as I do it, probably the pine and poplar around here, and then it's pretty much just whittling. I've never tried antlers. Although there is a guy about ten minutes down the road who does chainsaw carvings.

Well, is the south a different country? Idk, it's a different mindset! As for your question...

Urbanization is killing it. There used to be more localized feasts around the harvest moon (1st full moon after harvest) and the hunters moon (1st full moon after the harvest moon) they kinda morphed into Thanksgiving, but some local hunters around here still have wild game dinners around the hunters moon although now it's associated with the hunting season and not the moon, but the hunters moon custom lead the official game season...ok, I'll shut up now.

Would you or have you ever tried hang gliding?

Haven't made kites since childhood. There a mountain about an hour from me, a lake two hours from me, and Kitty Hawk down on the coast about maybe six hours from me that all offer hang gliding. It's on my bucket list.

What your favorite thing about the area you live in?

The Blue Ridge Mountains and Cherokee reservation.

Are you a sportsman? If so, do you hunt for necessity or need?

That's beautiful country.

I seldom hunt now because of the hours I work. It's been sort of a blessing being laid up the past few days letting my shoulder mend. When I hunt I eat what I kill, and share what I can't eat. My uncle taught me that. He'd divide his deer up between his family and a couple widow women. I never trophy hunt or just to kill to say I shot this or that. That's not in my code.

Have you ever dreamed a dream that came true?

Not sure if you mean literally or metaphorically - but, yes to both.

What is your absolute favorite thing to do that costs no money and doesn't require you leave your home?
