Best present ever? Someone who once dropped back into my life, just because, for me, for us, for what once was, then danced away again...

Whats at the top of your bucket list?

Good choice

To be someone loved and loving. I'll see whether it panned out when I get there.

A more immediate thing - to swim from the Isle of Scilly to Cornwall

Was a time I was broke, out of work, sleeping in my car until I couldn't afford to keep it...basically crashing on friends couches with a bag of clothes and doing odd jobs. Possessions mean little, a good friend means everything.

What is your favorite get away?

Sound view.

Montenegro, swimming in caves, existing in a quiet place. Or camping in Rendlesham Forest unexpectedly.

You?

Well, i try to learn from past mistakes and foul ups...

Right now the closest getaway is a the Appalachian Mountain foothills trails. And a good trail works for me every time.

What other language do you wish you were fluent in?

No. Shy of, but for me I found the language barrier all consuming. I enjoy travel but I think I like my birth land as my home.

How about you?

Yes, language can be quite the challenge. In the military I spent a couple of years in Italy so there was a large expat community and those around the bases were well versed in sellers English. Farther out not so much.

Which habit would you most like to break?

Self-sabotage. I see it as extremely poor restraint.

What's one trait you wish you had?

They say, "fools rush in where angels fear to tread." It's not that i don't think, I also need to apply the breaks. Maybe one day there will be a disaster in the making I can stay away from.
