Pretty sure I went a straight 24 hours without sleep; I learnt that sometimes its better to just do my own thing in the throes of insomnia than follow the conventional for no reason other than supposed habit.

What is the smallest amount of sleep you've had and then been reasonably functional the next day? Think mine was about 3/4 hours.

About 20 min on the plane.  When i travel at any length of time it disrupts my sleep but life goes on and we somehow function.

Do you know who your neighbors are where you live?  Do you chat with them regularly?

Yes-my next door neighbor and I share a deck, & we’ve made it look like an outdoor living room with a potted flower and vegetable garden. My downstairs neighbor is 95 & legally blind, so I check in on her when her family & hired help, can’t be here.

Do you have any very elderly family or friends?

Not anymore.
Some past away few years ago.  Now majority of my family are young or younger adults.

Do you ever think of someone who is not a family member but somehow they've impacted your life, you're no longer in touch? If yes, what can you share about who they are and how you're connected with them?

My Mom.  She lives in a studio place next to my Sister's (and BIL) home.

I visit her every other week and try to make her laugh (a lot)  O, and i always bring a snack for her cat.

Since Youth...The wheel spins much faster than I ever cared for.
I intently make time move slow, to absolute crawl when given opportunity.
I'll listen to trees breathe.
