Poetry - all genre's
You -- same Q?
fantasy & sci-fi, horror, supernaturals, historical from war stories to books like The Name of the Rose, detectives... actually, most genres if i find them well-written but tend to find the hallmark-styles too saccharine, the flood of books detailing stories of child abuse survivors too painful to read. for non-fiction it's books to learn from - about flora and fauna, space, cooking, art, making things, landscaping and so on and so forth
poetry... i like to be surprised. the trouble with the system here (for me) of placing poems in genres is it means i'm much less likely to read an author whose work is listed under 'anger' or 'self-harm' or 'drugs'
q: cotton or silk?
