Oh God tucked in!

My former question was "overlooked" so I'll ask again!

Was there any movie you ever saw that lived up the book?

I don’t think so really, no adaptation
is better than the book itself so I
try not to disappoint myself by
watching them 😂

What about you?

H is a tucked in sort (though this summer he's relented) and i have to have my side untucked it's a work in progress, lol

*thinks about question*

i think The Green Mile did pretty well given the atrocities most stephen king's book-to-movie adaptations have become

i am a huge fan of the potter books and the lord of the rings, and even if the movies weren't strictly true to text, i loved them all as well. pretty much enjoyed the whole game of thrones stuff, too; loved the books but the endless names and trying to recall who was related to whom in the texts got a whole lot easier to visualise with the screen versions

okay, question:  idris elba? *fans self*

The Time Machine!  I mean I literally made it through it - and it wasn't nauseating, but it certainly wasn't the book. Also,  The Shipping News left out a  lot ( namely an entire tiny human ), but it was still good because of the cast.

[a] no - though i believe it humane to offer a choice to those who have committed the most heinous crimes and will spend all their life in prison: life-long internment or assisted suicide

I grew up in Hawaii and lived for a spell with my Okinawan Grandparents.  Also, i am the only member of my immediate family to have met our blood relatives on Okinawa, Japan  and so not sure how i cheated ---- it's just in my DNA, right?

OK - new Q for U:  Rice or mashed potatoes?
