You're welcome, PR. There were some good choices. You are allowed to pick more than one in the poll.  We opened it up so each participant could pick one male and one female.

I didn't know that and I only picked one and now its showing the breakdown of votes, I don't know if its possible to go back and pick a second one

We didn't have an issue either, Josh. I think historically we've only allowed one vote, and that was the issue. Entrants will adjust better the next time around.  Thanks for your vote(s)!

Are the poems to be written as if the poet were alive today, or only relating to their own era?

The poems are to be written as an inspirational piece by one of the tribute poet's poems. How you write that is completely up to you, as long as you list the inspirational poem. It is advised that you study the poet's style and forms; however, it's the essence we pay the most attention to.

You should be an 'Old Hat' to this by now, Josh!  Being you've won several!

Thanks you for the clarification  {Sometimes 'Old Hats' get a bit weathered at the edges and lose the plot    }
