Tallen said:I need a recipe for a soup that promotes a lifting up of chakra energies.
I use a crock pot and usually start on a Friday and add throughout the weekend.
But Monday, the soup is divine.

Any suggestions for making my soup better or different?

Lentil soups are good for that..
Although the desire to cook and eat anything right now has left me.

Agree, i do lentil soups.  I will use bouillon and sweet pickled relish as my soup base.

Hmmmmmmm, I'll try adding chickpeas this coming Friday.

That sounds yummy in my brain.
I usually mix the chickpeas with pickled beets
and canned tuna and seaweed, fennel, pink salt,
and wasabi
but never thought to add to soup.

Thank You for the suggestion

If I can't be bothered soaking the chickpeas over night, I'll drain a can, put it in a bowl,
Salt, pepper to taste
A red onion
Shred some lettuce or fresh spinach
Some tomatoe
2 table spoons of Greek yogurt
Sometimes ill add a little cheese for contrast
Mix together well, sprinkle a little paprika on top... Eat enjoy

I'll have to try that! I see you're a slave to cheese as well!

No beans, eh?
i wonder if it would enhance the dish if i put some navy beans in it

You know, my Brother-in-Law told me last week that he also didn't know that we should pre-soak the beans before making chili or soups.
I was telling him what You told me

Anyways, I am looking for recipes that a novice (single man) can easily do.

Extra points if You can share in a spill format

Whatever you cook...soups...curries...casseroles...always add a BIG dollop of peanut paste...always!
Cheers...Harry
