The in-depth interviews with NikkiMoe and ImperfectedStone were soul-stimulating and reminded me of why it is that I write. Daniel’s deep-dive into SeaCats’ poem “Night Dreams Of Day” was compelling and poetry in and of itself. He showcased very well SeaCats’ awesome talent. I was truly touched by the honesty of CeeCee-Elaine’s “The Escape Gene” prompting an immediate follow. SocksScareMe blew my scary socks off with her song, “Soot.” Quizness was brilliant. All in all an aural feast indeed.

Aww wow! Love the thought that people have found new reads off the podcast. Makes my lil’ soul happy 😊

Thank you so much my friend. I often get some private messages about the Spotlight, but it's so meaningful for you to leave such an in depth review for our friends in the forum. I love making my segment, have fun with the intro/outro and Risky Quizness segment as well. The interviews are so meaningful, giving us insight into our peers on site. Missy and Eamonn do a fantastic job. It's great to know everyone here. Namaste.

My ex-wife used to drive a vulva, she drove it here, she drove it there, she drove it everywhere, dressed like a German pornstar, she had this habit like a rabbit of hiring out her vulva - one careless owner

I tuned in last night to the very first podcast. Missy interviewed Daniel to acknowledge his poem of the month I believe it was from  last year
The interview was well done and informative . The questions and answers allowed me to get to know both of the poets at a more intimate level. Missy  opened the dialogue with what makes Daniel tick as a poet
Specifically his poem Stargazer
A beautifully written (very long) poem
Which they picked apart its meaning and where the inspiration was born
That was as far as I got on that before falling asleep thank you both for lulling me off to Dreamland
I need to mention I woke in a good mood invcase anyone was wondering what it's like to have Missy and Daniel subliminally programming through my earbuds into my subconscious as I faded away  with their voices in my head

An announcement!

We’ve been beavering away on a new segment to keep the podcast in line with some offered suggestions. To keep you up to date this will be the new segment released from March.

As always your thoughts and feedback are welcome:

- The new segment will be a chat panel  called “Strong Language” and cover both DU & famous poets. It will replace one of the current interview slots with Missy & Eamonn now doing alternate poet interviews over the coming months.

- A theme is set each month ie/ love, death, fear, abstract etc.

- The chat panel will be invited to share one poem each either famous or on DU if we can (DU poems will not be mentioned without permission) that fits this brief.

- The chat panel will discuss the topic which will be hosted by a different pod team member each month to ensure variety & structure.

- Guests / volunteers will be invited on the show as and when if they would like to share a poem and join in the discussion.

Sounds like a positive development to me - it's great to see how the PoetCast project is developing ever onwards from its first episode.
Looking forward to No:10 next month {no, not that No:10  :))  }

I think I can speak for at least myself when I say wow, that right there is a level of optimism beat only by the  famous "don't panic, the pilot will pull up in a sec"  by that guy with a parachute

even with the shouting symbol thingies (!) good doesn't quite cut the mustard.

it'll be great, y'hear ...? great!! (to the power of two shouting symbol thingies)  (!!)

Do forgive me oh great Jesus of airwaves!!

Allow me to bend a knee at the altar of the podcast and exclaim with open arms the magnificent potential of this opportunity!

Let me fashion a heavily embroidered plinth and etch a prayer of thanksgiving and fortitude to the brilliance of this time in our audio lives!!! For now is the second coming of the magnanimous digital age and we are on the cusp of certain greatness!!
